A man suspected in a shooting death and his girlfriend are on the run with their two children from Fellsmere, according to Vero Beach Police.
A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been issued for Edward Gamez, a white/hispanic male, 4 years old, 3 feet tall, 30 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and Lizeht Gamez-Flores, a white/hispanic female, 11 months old, 1 feet 06 inches tall, 15 pounds, black hair, brown eyes.
The children were last seen in the 100 block of North Oak Street in Fellsmere, just northwest of Vero Beach.
The children may be in the company of Edward Geovani Guardado Gamez, a white/hispanic male, 24 years old, 5 feet 07 inches tall, 160 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and Maria Maricela Flores Lopez, a white/hispanic female, 21 years old, 5 feet 04 inches tall, 130 pounds, black hair, brown eyes.

According to the Vero Beach Police Department, Edward “Geovani” Guardado Gamez, is wanted in connection with a shooting last Thursday, January 21 in Vero Beach. Detectives obtained arrest warrants charging Gamez with First Degree Murder with a Firearm and Attempted First Degree Murder with a Firearm.
Gamez should be considered armed and dangerous. Citizens should not attempt to contact Gamez or anyone with him, but are urged to immediately call 911. Anyone with information regarding Gamez’s whereabouts or information regarding the homicide should call the Vero Beach Police Department at (772) 978-4600.
