The Florida Forest Service shared heart-stopping pictures of a 500-plus acre fire that firefighters are battling in the pan handle.
"The tremendous amount of downed trees left in the wake of #HurricaneMichael is making suppression efforts difficult," they wrote along with the pictures. "Twenty-three personnel, eight bulldozers, one Florida Forest Service helicopter, one fixed-wing aircraft and multiple local fire departments are on scene."
