COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A Facebook post from Collier County is going viral after somebody foiled a sheriff's office speed trap.

The post shows a plywood sign with the words 'POLICE AHEAD' spray painted on.

Deputies were puzzled when a significant amount of time had passed and they had identified just one driver travelling over the speed limit.

The Collier Sheriff's Office took it in stride, using the hashtags #policeahead, #slowdown, and #yougotus.

In the words of the Sheriff's Office, "well played anonymous sign artist. Well played."
