An Allegiant Air flight to Orlando was forced to land Wednesday in Jacksonville because of an unidentified smell in the plane’s cabin.

Flight 749 from South Bend, Indiana, landed at Jacksonville International Airport about 1:26 p.m. after declaring an emergency, according to Allegiant.

The 166 passengers are expected to be delayed for more than five hours, the company says. The company says it’s working to get a plane to finish the flight to Orlando-Sanford International Airport.
