A 99-year-old woman in Miami-Dade woke up to a rainforest animal sleeping on her chest, and she had no idea how it got there.

The kinkajou is a member of the raccoon family and is native to parts of South and Central America. This kinkajou's name is Banana, and her owner couldn't be happier to have her back.

Banana's owner, Raymond Fernandez, spoke with our ABC affiliate WPLG-TV in Miami.

"I got my baby back," Fernandez said. "I can't believe it. I thought she was lost forever."

Banana had managed to find a way to get out of her cage, and she had been missing for over a week.
