HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- One person is dead and another was taken to the hospital after "an armed disturbance" at a Florida U.S. Air Force base.
The U.S. Air Force said the incident happened at the base in Hurlburt Field.
The shooting prompted a lockdown before it was eventually lifted.
The deadly shooting is under investigation. Officials did not release the suspect's identity as of Friday night.
