Robert Celeste, 50, was charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor on Nov. 20.
St. Petersburg Police said recent DNA results show he is the newborn’s father.
Celeste worked at Northeast High School in 2014, but put in a transfer to Pinellas Park High School in August.
Authorities said that is around the same time the alleged sexual activity occurred.
Following the allegations of having sex with a minor, the Pinellas County School District confirmed Celeste resigned in Sept. of 2015. Two months later he traded his yearbook photo in for a mug shot.
ABC Action News tried to get a comment from Celeste on the recently released DNA results. He opened his door for a brief second and said, “no comment.”
Celeste pleaded not guilty to the charges.
He has a pre-trial hearing on March 7 at 8:30 am at the Pinellas County Courthouse.
