Apple rolled out its highly anticipated iOS 10 update Tuesday, but there were some issues.
For some, the update process failed with a subsequent error message asking users to plug their iOS device into a PC or Mac for a complete restore of the operating system, Apple told The Verge.
Some users say the update bricked their iPhones and iPads, meaning they were locked out of their devices.
Apple says if that happens users should first update iTunes on their computers, then update the device by plugging it into the computer.
