TAMPA — The city of Tampa announced Wednesday it will no longer accept cash to park at Al Lopez Park for Buccaneer games.
The city is moving to prepaid parking or onsite credit cards only.
City officials say the move is part of their efforts to streamline parking for the games.
Game day parking at Al Lopez Park, located on N. Himes Ave. just north of W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, will remain $15.
The change does not include parking on Raymond James Stadium grounds controlled by the Tampa Sports Authority.
