Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office detectives are on scene of a death investigation in the Palm River area.
A citizen, who was horseback riding, discovered the body of a deceased adult white female in a ditch at approximately 1:43 p.m., according to detectives.
The body was approximately 4 - 5 feet off the roadway on the north side of the road just east of the intersection located at 20th Avenue South and 58th Street South.
The deceased was fully clothed and preliminary indication is that there is no apparent cause of death.
