A suspect wanted since July in a Tampa stabbing has been captured in Texas, according to Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay.
Juan Francisco Carrion-Saloman, 26, faces charges of attempted second-degree murder and use of a weapon in an attempted homicide.
Carrion-Saloman is accused of stabbing a person several times with a large knife July 8 at the West Tampa Social Club at 2102 Himes Ave. N.
An anonymous tip given to Crime Stoppers helped lead a U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force in Austin to the suspect.
