Tampa PD is looking for a suspect caught on surveillance video robbing a dollar store at gunpoint.

It happened at about 9:06 Wednesday morning at the Family Dollar on north 40th St.

The masked suspect is seen on video jumping over the counter, pointing a gun at the clerk and demanding money.

The register was opened and he grabbed the cash inside before leaving the store and running northwest toward the back of the business.

It is unclear if this incident is connected to an armed robbery that took place at the same store three days earlier.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unidentified suspect(s) involved in this armed robbery case. Anyone with any information who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at
