Tampa Police Department is investigating the shooting of a man near the 22nd Street Meat and Grocery around noon on Thursday.
Officers say the victim, estimated to be in his 40's was in the convenience store when he stepped out and got on his bicycle. Another man approached the victim and shot him and then fled from the scene.
Tampa Police are currently searching for the suspect and following up on what they call "good leads."
The shooting does not appear to be random and it appears that the men knew each other. At this time, it is unclear what the motive for the shooting might be.
Tampa Police continue to investigate.
