Officers have made an arrest and continue to investigate an overnight double shooting a Tampa apartment complex that left one man dead.

At approximately 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to reports of a disturbance at the Tzadik Oaks Apartments, located at 1250 E. 113th Avenue.

Authorities say a group of people who knew each got into an argument inside of the apartments. Two people, both males, were shot during the dispute.

The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment where one later succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased victim was later identified as 20-year-old Antonio Roman.

On Friday, police arrested 20-year-old Alexeis Perez and charged him with armed robbery and the first-degree murder of Antonio Roman. The investigation is ongoing.
