CORRECTION: Tampa police have corrected an earlier release concerning the fatal motorcycle crash Tuesday morning. The latest statement said there is no physical evidence to suggest a hit-and-run scenario involving another vehicle, but rather that the motorcyclist hit the brakes and lost control.

Tampa police investigated a fatal motorcycle crash early Tuesday morning on E. Busch Blvd.
Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of East Busch Boulevard and 18th Street and found one person dead.
The victim has been identified as Jarrett Gretebeck, 21, of Tampa.
A stretch of Busch Boulevard was shut down from Brooks to 18th Street while investigators comb over the scene, but has since reopened.
Accident debris extended from 18th Street east to nearly 20th Street.
