If you commute to work using Tampa Palms Boulevard, take note of an upcoming closure.
The road will close south of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard on Friday, May 20 at 6 p.m. as part of a roadway widening project, according to a release on the City of Tampa website.
The purpose of the closure is to allow a contractor to install a 30-inch wastewater force main.
The through lanes on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard will remain open, and pedestrians will still be able to access the road.
