National Night Out is an event designed to enhance the partnership between the community and police departments. And many Tampa Bay police departments are ready to celebrate with residents on Tuesday night.
- TAMPA: Chief Eric Ward will travel to four locations throughout the city to thank residents and business owners for working with law enforcement to keep Tampa safe.

CLEARWATER: The Clearwater Police Department will have its annual National Night Out at the Super Target at Clearwater Mall from 5 to 8 p.m.
- It's a great family friendly event for all ages, but especially children who can climb on the police boat, sit on a police motorcycle, or check out the inside of a fire truck. Clearwater Fire & Rescue also is participating in the annual event.
- K9, SWAT, the mounted unit, the hostage negotiating team, emergency response team and forensics will be among those participating. Free bike helmets for kids will be available, and there will even be a landing by Bayflite in the parking lot.
- Free food and beverages will also be handed out by several local restaurants.

ST. PETERSBURG: St. Petersburg Police Department's annual National Night Out will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Target parking lot at 8151 Dr. MLK Jr. Street North.
- Activities include: K9 Demonstration, Bike Rodeo and Free Bike Helmets, Games, Police and Fire Vehicles, and Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Helicopter.
- Food will also be available for purchase from numerous vendors including: Menchies Frozen Yogurt, Heavy's Food Truck (Soul Food), Opiepo Food Truck (Pizza), MMM Bap Food Truck (Korean Cuisine), and Krepelicious Food Truck (Sweet Crepes).
