TAMPA, Fla. – A kind gesture from a stranger on a flight headed to Tampa has gone viral.
On Saturday, Wesley Thomas was on a Spirit Airlines flight with his brother, sister-in-law and niece heading from Dallas to Tampa.
During the flight, his 2-year-old niece began to fuss.
That's when Thomas says that the man sitting in the row in front of his niece turned around and asked, "Would she like to draw?"
Thomas said that he initially thought the man was going to scold his niece, but instead, the man got up out of his seat and pulled out a tablet from the overhead bin. He then handed it the little girl.
"I have four daughters," the man said.
Thomas took photos of the encounter and shared the story on Twitter. The tweet had over 300,000 likes by Monday afternoon.
On route to Tampa, and this man noticed my niece starting to fuss. He turned to what we thought would be a scolding, but says “would she like to draw?” He pulls out a tablet from the overhead bin and hands it to her. “I have 4 daughters 😊” he said. Y’all, look at his face. 💕 pic.twitter.com/dVqo9g1B8H
