Tampa police are currently investigating at a crash at Bayshore Boulevard involving a motorcyclist. Police say that the accident happened at Bayshore Boulevard and Rome Avenue at around 3 p.m. Sunday.
Police believe that the motorcyclist was traveling down Bayshore and was struck by a Jeep.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured and Transported to the hospital.
Sound bound Bayshore Boulevard is closed between Oregon Avenue and Nance Avenue while the investigation is conducted.
