Instead of dropping serious cash for pricey assistance, you can instead head to the Hillsborough County's public libraries where an expanded new program is offering tech support and computer help all free of charge.
On a recent Tuesday, computer novice Richard Jewett received aid from tech guru Jarrell Pulliam who helped install virus protection software. An electronics store could have charged him more than a hundred bucks for the set-up.
"You can't beat free!" said a relieved Jewett.
Walk-in during select dates or call to set up a one-on-one appointment.
