The 142nd Imperial Session of the Shriners International will host a 4th of July Parade in Ybor City along 7th Avenue on Monday at 6:00 p.m.
The parade is free to the public and the estimated attendance is several thousand people.
The parade will stage along Nick Nuccio Parkway and proceed east along 7th Avenue to 20th Street and head north and disband. There will be a viewing stand at the intersection of 7th Avenue and 20th Street.
On-street parking will be restricted along the parade route after lunch. Portions of Nuccio Parkway, Palm Avenue and 7th Avenue will be closed from approximately 3:00 p.m until 10:00 p.m.
As an extra perk, the TECO Line Streetcar Service will offer extended hours, from 12 PM until 12 midnight, with FREE fares beginning at 7:00PM, onwards. Complimentary rides are courtesy of the Tampa Historical Society, Inc.
