TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police are seeking more information regarding a fatal home invasion.

On the afternoon of Saturday, November 17, 2018, unknown suspects forced their way into a home located at 2409 State Street West in Tampa. The suspects were armed with handguns and demanded money from a 19-year-old pregnant woman who was in the kitchen, police say.

The woman's boyfriend, Cristian Velazquez-Osorio, was in bed at the time but got up to see what was going on. One of the suspects shot Velazquez-Osorio and then threatened to do the same to the woman, who was 8-months pregnant, if she didn't comply with their demands.

Velazquez-Osorio died from his injuries.

Tampa Police have released surveillance video that shows a 4-door silver car that may be involved in the homicide.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
