Tampa Police are investigating an armed robbery of a temporary Galaxy Fireworks stand early Wednesday morning.
The robbery occurred just after midnight at the Galaxy fireworks stand set up in a parking lot at the corner of W. Hillsborough Avenue and Rome Ave.

Officers say four black men wearing masks entered the tent, which was already closed for the night, and confronted two employees. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money. Meanwhile, the other three suspects stole several boxes of fireworks, according to the Tampa Police Department.
The men drove off in a four-door sedan. The make and model of the car is unknown.
Two employees were working at the time of the robbery, neither one was hurt.
Police say that the amount and type of fireworks taken has not yet been determined.
