Man injured in drive-by shooting in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Police are investigating a drive-by shooting early Wednesday morning that left one man injured.

Detectives say around 1:26 a.m., a car drove up to a home in the 2500 block of West Main Street. A person inside the vehicle fired at a man standing outside, hitting him in his left wrist and two nearby cars.

The victim was treated at a local hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Police do not have a motive for the shooting at this point. There is also no suspect or vehicle description available.

The victim's name has not been released yet.
