Starting at 8 a.m. on Monday and continuing for four weeks, Tampa Electric will be inspecting power lines from up above in low-flying helicopters.
Don't be alarmed if you see or hear helicopters hovering above lines in the coming weeks. They will be anywhere from 30 to 300 feet above the lines as they inspect Tampa Electric's 1,300 mile system of lines.
Tampa Electric says they are hoping for the inspections to be done by the middle of September.
