Dozens of jeeps took over I-75 on Sunday between Bradenton and Brandon. It was a ride to show support for law enforcement. The ride was put on by a Jeep group called the "Blackwater Jeepers."

"We want to show the law enforcement officials that we support them with all of the bad publicity out there. We just want to show them that there are people who support them," said organizer Stephanie Brody.

Group members said there are several officers who are jeep owners.

"They have wives and children and it's sad, why does it have to happen it hurts my heart to hear about it and see it, it hurts to see anybody getting killed," said Boyd.

Group member Al Feliz said most officers are good hearted people.

" At the end of the day they could probably rest assure that all law enforcement will risk their life going to a call not knowing what they are walking into," said Feliz.

About a hundred jeep owners participated in the law enforcement ride.
