TAMPA, Fla. — An intoxicated suspect was arrested after barricading himself inside a home and holding three people hostage Monday morning.
Tampa Police said they responded to the home on W. Eldred Dr after receiving a called about an aggravated assault.
After arriving to the scene, police took the intoxicated suspect, who has not been identified, into custody without incident.
Police said the three family members who the suspect would not allow to leave the home were not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
