Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a home health care worker for stealing from a 104-year-old woman.
Betzaida Rosario, 37, of Tampa, was trusted to provide services to the 104-year-old victim in Sun City Center, according to deputies.
An investigation revealed Rosario broke that trust and took several Publix gift cards from the victim for her own personal use in July and August of 2016.
Deputies responded to several locations to obtain video of Rosario utilizing the cards and were able to positively identify her.
Rosario was arrested on Thursday and charged with six counts of Petit Theft and one count of Exploitation of the Elderly.
