Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a report of a multi-residential structure fire at 7901 and 7903 Holly Lea Court on Wednesday.

Upon arrival, Temple Terrace Engine 11 and Tampa Fire Engine 18 found smoke and flames through the roof.

At that time, Incident Command called a second alarm on the structure.  HCFR Truck 5 was positioned to flow water to attack the fire and prevent it from impeding on the adjacent buildings.

A civilian, Damian Baez, rescued a 2nd floor resident from their burning apartment. They were both transported with non-life threatening injuries.

A Safety Officer was put in place to continue the forward progress on the fire without any injuries.  There were no injuries to personnel.

The American Red Cross was on scene to help with the displacement of 15 residents from 8 affected units.
