HCSO detectives search for 'armed and dangerous' man accused of murder

TAMPA, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a potentially armed and dangerous man accused of murdering a Tampa man in January.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Javon Rakeem Turner, 23, who is wanted for shooting Elijah Moore on January 17 in the 3700 block of Carroway Street North.

Detectives say Turner is known to frequent the Grant Park area and should be considered armed & dangerous.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the location and arrest of Turner for this outstanding warrant.
