Hundreds of families lined up at Middleton High School in Tampa for a back to school health fair.
"They get a physical, they get immunizations, and free school supplies," said organizer Tina Young.
Volunteers help provide the services for un-insured and new students of the district.
"There's a need, we knew that families are missing that first week of school because they couldn't get in to see their own doctors or they didn't have their own doctors," said Young.
Colby Lawson brought his three sons to the event. The family recently moved to Florida from Georgia.
"We were referred here for a physical so we came here and brought them out," said Lawson.
He said it's important for people to know about these services. Lawson said he's been telling his friend about the events.
The next health fair is August 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Blake High school. Call 813-443-3048 for more information.
