Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, with the assistance of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Michael Ford, 49, of Plant City, on 40 counts of possession of child pornography on Friday.
The investigation began after FDLE agents determined that a computer at Ford’s residence was being used to upload images and videos of child pornography which depicted the sexual abuse of children, ranging in ages from 6-12 years old.
Ford was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail on $100,000 bond.
This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, 13th Judicial Circuit.
