Florida Highway Patrol troopers are on the scene of a deadly crash on the Howard Frankland Bridge.
According to officials, the crash happened on the Howard Frankland Bridge near the Kennedy Boulevard exit on Wednesday.
It's not clear what led to the crash, but it appears a driver lost control, flipped and came to rest on the barrier wall.
Initially, inside and center lanes in both directions were blocked as officials continued their investigation.
The northbound lanes reopened around 7:30 p.m. while the southbound lanes reopened an hour later, according to officials.
