Tampa Police Detectives are investigating a shooting where a man lost his life after an altercation in the street early Tuesday morning, officials say.
Officials say that the shooting occurred around 12:40 a.m. near the 100 block of Adalee Street W.

Detectives are looking for several young men who are believed to have been involved in the altercation and subsequent shooting. Officials say that the victim came into contact with the suspects in the street or sidewalk in the 100 block of E. Adalee Street. The nature of the relationships and the motive for the shooting are unclear at this time.
The victim has been identified, but next of kin have not yet been notified. The victim is an adult male.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation continues.
