Hillsborough County deputies are investigating a homicide outside of a home in the 8200 block of Trammell Trail in Tampa.
The call came in around 10:00 p.m. on Monday night.
Deputies say the victim is an adult male who died at the scene after being shot.
Detectives cleared the scene around 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday and are gathering additional evidence.
Officials say the incident does not appear to be random.
