Fire officials rescued an injured worker who fell through an opening on the barge he was working on at Port of Tampa Bay on Wednesday night.
Just after 11 p.m., Tampa Fire Rescue responded to Port Tampa Bay where an 18-year-old man had fallen through the opening.
Due to the confined space, a heavy rescue crew response was utilized.
Fire officials were able to successfully hoist him out on a basket stretcher.
The man was transported to Tampa General with minor injuries.
