Tips to get noticed by potential employers

CareerSource of Tampa Bay is holding a "virtual job fair" this week for entry level candidates. The event gives people a chance to go online submit their resume and interests with potential employers from home.
 
Executives with CareerSource said the event has thousand of job opportunities for full and part time candidates.  
 
ABC Action News spoke with the hiring manager for College Hunks Moving Junk. She said the company is hiring several call center people who on average make about $15/hr.  
 
"We are rapidly growing we are growing at an exponential rate," said Kim Roneree.
 
Kim's list to make your resume stand out:
 
1.  Brag about yourself and your accomplishments
2.  Be specific about why you are a good employee
3.  Show that you want to grow with the company
 
If your resume passes the test Roneree will conduct a phone interview.
 
"I wanna hear why, why they are applying, what is it about the position and what are they looking to get out of it," said Roneree.
