A body was found floating in the Hillsborough River Tuesday evening.
According to Tampa Police, they received a report about a body floating in the Hillsborough River near the W Columbus Drive bridge shortly after 5:00 p.m.
They recovered the body, later identified as59-year-old Elijah Freeman, near the North Boulevard bridge.
According to police, a friend reported that they last spoke with Freeman on Monday
At this time, the case is under investigation, though there appear to be no signs of foul play.
