Hillsborough Fire and Rescue responded to damaged structures in the 6800 block of Alafia Drive in Riverview.

Two mobile homes at the Crescent Lake Mobile Home Park were damaged from trees that fell in the area.

The Red Cross was called in to assist one of the two families who lost their homes.

Uprooted trees also left damage on North Valrico Road in Hillsborough County.

The Town N Country Mobile Home Park left several families also displaced.

In all, code enforcement officers with Hillsborough County had to condemn five trailers.

Along with that, five others had major damage, eight minor and another seven were impacted.

Right now, officials don’t have how many structures in all were damaged because they are still out assessing damage.

Hillsborough County Fire and Rescue tells us they had to transport one person for a medical call at Town ’N Country.

Melissa Mason tells us her mother was hit in the head by a tree, “she’s okay, she’s just shaken up.”

Mason was home with her family, getting ready for bed when a tree cut her mobile in two.
