2 injured after argument leads to shooting outside of Tampa foam party

TAMPA, Fla. — Two men were shot after getting into an argument outside of a Tampa foam party early Wednesday morning.

The Green Gator Bar and Grill on Anderson Rd was holding a foam party, according to their Facebook page, when two men started arguing in the parking lot.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, shortly after 2:00 a.m. both men pulled out guns and started shooting at each other. Security intervened and also fired their guns.

Both men were shot, but deputies said they are unsure if they shot each other or if they were shot by security.

The men were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No bystanders or security guards were injured.

Deputies said both men have felony arrest histories.

At this time, it is unknown what the men were arguing about.
