The four-legged Mother of the year definitely goes to Maggie, a pointer mix from the SPCA Suncoast, after she delivered a litter of 16 puppies on Mother's Day this year.

The puppies are now 8 weeks old and have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations and they are ready for their "fur-ever" home.

At a special adoption event, the huge litter of pointer mix pups, along with some of their furry friends, will be at Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM of New Port Richey on 4023 U.S. Highway 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 2.

The adoption fee is $250 with Ferman paying $125 of the first 10 pets adopted at the event.
