ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Detectives are searching for the man who robbed a 7-Eleven store in St. Petersburg early Thursday morning.
Officers say around 12:40 a.m., a man entered the store located at 3000 49th Street N, took out a gun and demanded the clerk hand over the money in the register.
Authorities say the man stole an unknown amount of cash and ran away from the store on foot.
St. Pete Police used a K9 officer to try to track the man. There is no suspect description at this time.
Another armed robbery occurred at the same 7-Eleven store on October 23, 2016. The suspect during that robbery told the clerk he had a gun and made off with cash from the register.
