The boy stole one car from Tampa, then another in Pasco and Manatee Counties.

When they arrested him in the 7300 block of Park Boulevard, the boy was in the car stolen from Pasco County. He was also in possession of a Sig Sauer 9mm handgun and a Colt .380 auto Mustang handgun. He also had one thousand dollars in cash on him.

The 9mm gun was stolen from Pasco County. Officers are still attempting to verify the origin of the second gun.

Police charged the boy with three counts of Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft / Firearm, Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance (Alprazolam), and Violation of Home Detention.

Pinellas Park detectives report the investigation is continuing and they are working with other agencies to try to link the teen and his associates to other similar cases.
