LONGBOAT KEY, Fla. — A local man, who's made a name for himself as a treasure hunter in the area, is asking for help reuniting a lost wedding ring with the proper owner.
Mark DesErmia wrote on Facebook asking for help after finding the ring in the water on Longboat Key. Inside, it has a date and the name "Oldulia" engraved.
"I want to ask all of my Facebook friend's to help me find the person who lost this ring. A very special wedding date. 12-25-55," he wrote.
DesErmia asks anyone with information to contact him on Facebook.
