All three of the teens, two age 16 and one age 15, are charged with felony battery on a law enforcement officer.

Detectives continue to search for a fourth suspect.

It was originally believed five suspects were involved but detectives now believe only four were involved.

On Feb. 7, the officer was jogging at Payne Park when he noticed a homeless person being harassed, pushed and hit by a group of teens.

The off-duty officer identified himself as a Sarasota Police Officer and told the teenagers to stop. However, the teens reportedly turned their aggression on the officer, striking him several times and injuring him before leaving the area.

Both the officer and original victim are doing well.
