SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. — A Sarasota County student is in custody after school officials say they stabbed another student while boarding the school bus Monday morning.
The Sarasota County Schools' police responded to a call of a stabbing near the intersection of Leon Avenue and 25th Street in Sarasota. According to school officials, a student attacked another student with a steak knife.

The injured student was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The student who attacked the other student with the knife was arrested on scene.
Both students were from Oak Park School, according to school officials.
No one else was hurt in the incident, according to school officials.
