Rescue crews are working to recover the body of a construction worker killed at the Venice Water Treatment Plant.
Action News has learned a slab of concrete fell on a contracted worker just before 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at the plant is located at 3510 Laurel Rd E.
No other workers were hurt during the accident.
So far, no information has been released about the worker.
