Police believe the shooting happened on Carter Street next to a playground. They spent hours Sunday evening canvassing the area looking for witnesses and evidence.

Investigators say this appears to be an isolated incident.

"It’s heartbreaking anytime we get a call of any sort of violence that happened in our community and to know that a teenager and a young adult were both involved in this it’s heartbreaking to know that this happened," Judge said. "So our officers are gonna do what they do best and they’re gonna work to figure out who’s responsible and continue their investigation to the fullest."
