A suspicious death investigation is underway in Sarasota after officers responded to reports of a deceased male on Monday, August 28.
At approximately 9:20 p.m., police responded to the area of 22nd Stret and Palmadelia Avenue.
Detectives are treating the death as suspicious and are working to confirm the identity of the person.
At this time, police say there is no information that indicates that there is a threat to the community in reference to this incident.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
