Kennedy and Avery Cole are 10-year-old twins on a mission. The Lakeview Elementary School students heard about the devastation in the Panhandle during Hurricane Michael and decided to help.

“We decided to help out the best we could,” said Kennedy Cole.

The two donated their birthday money to the cause and started a GoFundMe page.

The twins decided they wanted their school to help out as well.  Halloween morning they asked their classmates to make a donation bucket.

"Take this with you and ask people to donate their loose change to help those impacted by Hurricane Michael,” said Kennedy Avery.

Teachers of the school are so proud of their students.

“I was really excited because it was their idea,” said teacher Victoria Theiler.
